Krishna Godavari takes centre stage for ONGC

SPENDING at India's Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is expected to reach about $4.5 billion this fiscal year as the state-controlled operator continues development of its deep-water KG-DWN-98/2 east coast block while aiming to maintain the production profile of its west coast shallow-water assets. ONGC is progressing swiftly with its $5 billion-plus plan to develop the Cluster 2 region KG-DWN-98/2 that is expected to significantly ramp up its domestic oil and gas production in another two to three years.
