Petrobras lines up seismic job

STATE-CONTROLLED Brazilian operator Petrobras plans to contract a massive proprietary seismic survey covering nine pre-salt fields and two high-profile areas that were acquired last year in a bid round in the Santos basin. The job will cover nearly 20,000 square kilometres in water depths of between 1300 metres and 2500 metres, and will feature a series of high-resolution 4D seismic acquisition campaigns using ocean-bottom node (OBN) technology.
