Pair gear up for exploration double at Gladsheim and Kathryn

EQUINOR and Repsol are set to spin the drillbit next month on a pair of North Sea wildcats off Norway that have now been given the safety go-ahead, writes Steve Marshall. State-controlled Equinor will use semi-submersible West Hercules to spud the 32/4-2 probe at the Gladsheim prospect in a water depth of 292 metres in its operated production licence 921. The well is due to be drilled in late August and has an estimated duration of at least 26 davs.
