摘要

THE UK North Sea regulator this week promised a flexible approach to enforcing licence commitments and schedules as it sought to calm nerves over the Covid-19 crisis and oil price crash that have piled extra pressure on the ageing sector. Andy Samuel, chief executive of the Oil & Gas Authority (OGA), said the regulator is repriortising work to ensure it remains "firmly focused" on safeguarding energy supplies and jobs. "The efforts of all parties are fixed on successfully navigating through this unprecedented period of uncertainty," he said.
