Taqa takes reins at Brae as RockRose loses ruling

UK-LISTED RockRose Energy has been forced to relinquish opera-torship of the Brae Area to Taqa after legal proceedings in which evidence was presented of a senior Taqa manager's disparaging opinions about their partner in the North Sea field. RockRose agreed to buy US operator Marathon Oil's UK assets, which included Brae, in February last year for $140 million.
