BP to lead England CCS drive

UK supermajor BP is to lead a group of large oil and gas companies, including Eni, Equinor, Shell and Total, to accelerate plans for what could become the UK's first major industrial decarbonisation project. The Net Zero Teesside consortium — part of the Oil & Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) group of oil companies — was launched in Middlesbrough, UK late last week.
