ITALY'S Eni has launched a bid process for the first of two major new fixed platforms to be installed off Libya as part of its multi-billion-dollar Structures A&E project. The move comes amid market indications that EniProgetti, the operator's internal engineering arm, has been selected to carry out front-end engineering and design work on the entire A&E scheme.
