Antero eyes asset sales in major US shale plays

US shale gas producer Antero Resources has unveiled plans to complete between $750 million and $1 billion in asset sales in 2020 amid a dismal commodity price outlook. The company, which has properties in the Marcellus and Utica shales of the north-eastern US, said last week it was considering selling lease acreage, minerals, producing properties, hedge portfolio restructuring and shares in midstream subsidiary Antero Midstream.
