Tender on the way for platform at Jerun field

SAPURAOMV Upstream is preparing to tempt contractors early next year with the engineering, procurement and construction contract for the central processing platform for its Jerun gas field development on Block SK 408 off Sarawak, East Malaysia. Multiple industry sources said that operator SapuraOMV, the Malaysian-Austrian joint venture, planned to issue the invitation to bid for the Jerun CPP EPC in the first quarter of 2020. The envisaged platform facility could involve up to 25,000 tonnes of offshore fabrication including the tospides plus jackets, one source told Upstream.
