CHINA'S CNOOC Ltd posted a slight rise in revenue in the third quarter as lower realised commodity prices eroded significantly increased output, writes Eoin O'Cinneide. Revenues at the state-controlled company increased 0.8% to 48.34 billion yuan ($6.83 billion) in the three months to the end of September from 47.93 billion yuan in the same period last year. The average realised price of oil fell 14.9% to $60.89 per barrel, while the realised gas price fell 8.8% to $5.7 per thousand cubic feet.
