Riser buoy and monobuoy set for removal

BRAZIL'S Petrobras is preparing to start decommissioning three monobuoys and a riser buoy due for removal in the Campos and Espirito Santo basins. The consultation documents, seen by Upstream, state the scope will be split into different packages including docking or hoisting solutions, removal and disposal of marine growth, taking apart structures, transport, and scrapping services. The consultation did not immediately define which infrastructure is covered or which elements will be decommissioned, re-deployed or scrapped, as Petrobras is still studying these aspects.
