Kibsgaard becomes Borr boss

BORR Drilling has named former Schlumberger chief executive Paal Kibsgaard as its new chairman just weeks after he left the oilfield services giant, writes Eoin O'Cinneide. Kibsgaard, who stepped down as both chairman and chief executive of Schlumberger on 1 August, will take over from Fredrik Halvorsen, who will step aside as chairman of the jack-up specialist from 1 September.
