ALTHOUGH Petrobras is working to a broad commitment to increase the lifetime of its production units, it has advised the Brazilian regulator ANP that it expects to decommission between 15 and 20 offshore structures by 2020, writes Gareth Chetwynd. The list of units up for decommissioning in the next few years includes the P-8, P-19, P-20 and P-26 semi-submersible units, the P-32 floating storage and offloading unit and the P-35, P-37 and P-47 floating production, storage and offloading units, all from the Mar-lim field.
