Permian to lead output

THE prolific Permian basin is set to lead the production increase in seven US onshore shale plays for the month of July, adding 55,000 barrels per day to a record 8.52 million bpd, according to a monthly report from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), writes Julia Martinez. Crude output is set to increase by 70,000 bpd, with the majority of the boost coming from the Permian of south-east New Mexico and west Texas.
