US SUPERMAJOR ExxonMobil is opening up for bids for its entire Norwegian licence portfolio as part of a drive to sell assets to finance new projects in high-growth areas including Guyana, paving the way for domestic independents with an appetite for growth. "Our aim is to sell all the licence ownerships in one package. We have been approached by interested parties, so we have decided to gauge the market interest by opening up a virtual data room," an ExxonMobil spokesman told Upstream.
