Petronas picks players for panel of contractors

MALAYSIA'S Petronas has selected up to six major engineering houses to form a panel of contractors that will compete for future engineering and design contracts linked to the national oil company's field developments. The identities of the engineering houses have not yet been disclosed officially, but sources said the select few are Aker Solutions, MMC Oil & Gas, Ranhill Worley, Saipem, Xodus and possibly Wood.
