INDIA'S state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has initiated the chase for a substantial 3D broadband seismic data acquisition tender involving multiple offshore fields off the country's western coast, writes Nishant Vgal. Project observers said ONGC is seeking technical and commercial offers from leading international seismic contractors for the 3D broadband job, which is touted to be the state-owned giant's largest data acquisition drive during the forthcoming field season.
