SOUTH Korean operator Posco Daewoo has short-listed two contractors in the final race to provide front-end engineering and design services for the third phase development of its Shwe gas project off Myanmar. Well-placed sources said that Posco Daewoo has recommended McDermott of the US and South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries to state-owned Myanma Oil & Gas Enterprise (MOGE) for its consideration and required approval.
