POWER sharing talks between Democratic Republic of Congo President Felix Tshisekedi and previous head of state Joseph Kabila concluded last week with 60% of Cabinet positions awarded to Kabila's Common Congo Front (FCC), leaving just 20% for Tshisekedi's Coalition for Change. Kabila had bargained to retain substantive control of oil and mining policy even after ceding power to Tshisekedi in hotly disputed polls amid growing controversy over oil deals, despite numerous non-partisan observers agree ing victory should have gone to former ExxonMobil executive Martin Fayula.
