Twin giants that still support Azerbaijan

DESPITE high hopes for new discoveries in Azerbaijan, the bulk of the country's oil and gas production still comes from two major offshore developments - UK supermajor BP's Azeri-Chirag Guneshli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields in the Caspian Sea. The two fields look to be the main drivers of the Caspian energy sector for years to come, and an indispensable source of funding for the state government.
