Shale Support for Argentina

US-BASED proppant player Shale Support has partnered with international transportation company Fracht Group to provide frack sand for the Vaca Muerta shale play in Argentina. A shipment of Shale Support's Delta Pearl white sand left the port of New Orleans, Louisiana on 18 February and is expected to arrive in Argentina by 10 March where it will be transferred to a distribution centre in the Vaca Muerta. Fracht is currently moving heavy oilfield equipment through the port of Bahia Blanca, so the addition of frack sand deliveries was "a natural extension" to their business, the company said.
