EXXONMOBIL is lining up a drilling programme to appraise its high-profile Glaucus gas discovery off Cyprus and determine if the reserves base is large enough to merit the construction of liquefied natural gas facilities. The Glaucus-1 well in Block 10 encountered a gas-bearing reservoir of about 436 feet (133 meters), making it the biggest discovery to date off the divided Mediterranean island.
