I hope you enjoyed a safe, happy, healthy and joyous holiday season. Keeping with longtime holiday traditions, once again I've gained weight due to the mandatory eating of delicious Italian cuisine while sharing this wonderful time with family and friends.rnWhile gathered around Mama Toscano's holiday table, family and friends asked about my work and what is happening in the unmanned systems world. As I explained the roles and missions of unmanned systems, I talked about many of the great benefits, challenges and progress of unmanned systems. I realized two significant aspects have recently surfaced in the unmanned systems community.
