Metronet gets more cost audits

The PPP arbiter checking over Metronet cost claims has judged that Metronet SSL could be due US$460M-US$1,2bn in extra expenses for work on the London tube - proportionally more than was seen as due Metronet BCV before its finances led both firms into administration.rnThe arbiter's review of extra cost entitlements due to both firms is be completed mid-November, unless the administrators - who are evaluating the fair value of the firms - end the Extraordinary Review process, which was initiated by Metronet. The adminstrators are seeking a party, or parties, to takeover the firms and their commitments, and Transport for London (TfL) - which owns the tube network via London Underground - has expressed interest.
