An Italian-Colombian JV led by Impregilo has won a further contract for the main works of the Sogamoso hydropower plant, in Colombia, and the works include construction of an underground powerhouse. Last month the JV was awarded the second contract by the developer Isagen, which is a public-private company. Impregilo, which has a 60% stake in the JV, said the contract is valued at some €345M (US$495M). The other members of the JV are local firms Conalvias and Tecnica Vial.
