Florida denies MAT money

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) denied a request on July 19 for USD 67.5M for the Port of Miami Tunnel project. Earlier in the month, Miami Access Tunnel (MAT) concessionaire, LLC, with Bouygues Civil Works in charge of design and construction, asked for the money out of an emergency reserve fund to cover the cost of pre-excavation grouting in the limestone under Biscayne Bay.
