摘要

Using an equipment with CT (computerized tomography), the characteristics of damage propagation of rock from a cold-region tunnel were studied under different conditions with freeze-thaw cycles, and the results were described by CT images and CT values. The relationships between damage development and the amount of water-supply, and loading or unloading process were also discussed during the repeated freeze-thaw, respectively, as well as the intensity change; moreover, the rate of breakage was also put forward. It was shown that the CT values and CT images could directly express the damage situation of rock, and the results were expected to provide a referenced basis for numerical computation and the safe running of cold-region tunnel.
