摘要

We present, in this paper, a set of computer codes for the studies of rock block instability during the boring of a tunnel with the aim of a better safety during works. The first code is for data acquisition, which is the determination of the discontinuity families from the image analysis of front end. This man driven code uses up to date image analysis techniques, such as mathematical morphology, applied both to classical images or laser scan images. This last kind of image gives 3D information that allows determination of rock discontinuities direction. From this data we can set a rock mass model in terms of discontinuities directions and distances between discontinuities. This approach is used in rock chain 1 as a prediction tool but can also be used as data recorder about mass structure for storing all the data on tunnel.
