摘要

A numerical problem of model-sting interference under wind-tunnel conditions is formulated. The computation speedup procedure is described, and test data that confirm its efficiency are presented. Possible methods of constructing the approximating computational grid are discussed. Particular attention is paid to the cavity in the model-sting junction region. Methods of organizing the procedure of computing an unsteady viscous flow in areas of strong interference are proposed. The model and conditions of its testing in the European Transonic Wind Tunnel (ETW) are described in detail. Experimental data are analyzed. The computed and experimental results are compared and the computational accuracy is evaluated. Flow fields are constructed and physical interpretations of the observed effects are given.
