If you believe extrapolations on fuzzy statistics, there are seven million pieces of Utter strewn along the highways and byways of this beautiful nation of ours. That figure was arrived at by the Keep Australia Beautiful foundation after it counted 13,146 items of litter at 100 sites on major roads in Victoria, NSW and Queensland including the Western, Hume, New England, Newell and Bruce highways.
