摘要

This paper focuses on the overall handling efficiency and the system's stability of container terminals with double cycling. A closed queuing network is used to model terminal operations, and theoretical upper and lower bounds of the system performance is obtained to show the maximum service availability of the terminals. The generally distributed service time indicates the impact of variations in service time on the system's stability. Finally, real-world data is used to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed model, and the analysis results provide policies to improve the terminal productivity.
