Traffic Barriers

摘要

Traffic barriers are installed in the road sections that face to dangerous road sides like cliffs, rivers, sea sides, and so on. Traffic barriers have the functions of preventing the run-off-road accident of the vehicle and of guiding the vehicle to the original lane. The guard real that is known to everybody is a representative type of traffic barrier. This paper presents the typical traffic barriers and describes some main performances that traffic barriers require. The recent studies on traffic barriers are also mentioned.
