The credit crunch which has arisen over the last fewrnmonths has made vehicle loans hard to obtain, and asrna consequence new car registrations have droppedrnover 25 percent in 2008, and are forecast to plummetrnfurther in 2009 as the consumer spending downturnrndeepens. The RMIF suggests that dealerships whichrnare at the receiving end of this slowdown in salesrnneed to look after their aftersales business to driverntheir revenue and profits.
