Philips introduces LED lighting for technicians

Philips has launched a range of work lights aimed at workshops, offering what it believes is optimal lighting. The penlight inspection lamp delivers 250 Lux and is shock and dust resistant, as well as waterproof. It also has a hook for hanging and angling the light. Meanwhile, the mid-range wand style light is mains powered and provides a soft white, natural, light to illuminate at a wide angle. With its 45 LEDs, it is the most powerful of the range, at a rating of 2400 Lux. Topping the range is Philips' rechargeable unit, which offers 1,200 lux and up to 50cm range.
