NEPTUNE ENERGY SIGNS DEALS TO PROGRESS BLUE HYDROGEN PRODUCTION

One of Europe's largest independent exploration and production companies Neptune Energy has reached agreements with several organisations to proceed with plans to produce blue hydrogen combined with CO_2 transport and storage on England's east coast. Located at the former Theddlethorpe gas terminal in Lincolnshire, the project named DelpHYnus would generate blue hydrogen on a large scale and include facilities to store and transport emissions from its base. After it announced in July an agreement with an unnamed gas generation specialist organisation to develop the blue hydrogen plant, Neptune has now confirmed it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with industrial operations specialist px Group to invest in and operate the facility.
