Fuelling solutions business Oil Tank Supplies has changed its name to OTS Group as part of a rebranding exercise to better reflect its portfolio of services. OTS Group is expanding the range of solutions on offer, focusing particularly on alternative and renewable fuels. Consumer delivery business Hermes UK has launched a new initiative to address the driver shortage, with a bespoke HGV driver apprenticeship scheme. Called Road to Logistics, the one-year course is funded through Hermes' apprenticeship levy and supported by Seetec, the operator's training provider. Bridgwater-based Nagel Langdons has picked Scania as its preferred supplier for 2019/20 and placed an order for 205 trucks, a mix of rigids and tractors, citing product quality and strong aftersales support. The new vehicles will be based around Nagel Langdons's eight UK depots and will run on a variety of temperature-controlled distribution and trunking operations.
