Objects of the society The objects of the Society are as laid down in its Memorandum and Articles of Association, Aims of the society The aims of the Society are to promote safe, efficient and environmentally sustainable operations engineering to the benefit of the community at large, through: 1. improving professional education, training, competence and ethics; 2. influencing legislation and design; 3. enhancing public understanding of the contribution of the Society and its membership to the community; and 4. promoting the benefits of membership and professional registration.
