A relaxation in European length and height limits for controlled-temperature trucks is being called for by the Transfrigoroute trade association. There is a four- metre overall height limit in most of Europe (not the UK) at present, and semi-trailer length is restricted to 12 metres behind the kingpin, giving an effective overall trailer length limit of 13.6m.
