Bus and coach deliveries dipped marginally in March, numbering 147 in the month, down 4% on the 153 units delivered last year. Year to date deliveries, at 416, are one off the 417 delivered in the first three months of 2009.rnThe Institute of Transport and Logistics Studies at The University of Sydney is a partner in a consortium that has been awarded a five-year grant from the Volvo Research and Education Foundation for a Center of Excellence (CoE) on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).The consortium is headed by Juan Carlos Munoz of the Department of Transport Engineering and Logistics at Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. Collaborators in the CoE at ITLS will be Professor David Hensher, Professor Corinne Mulley and Adjunct Professor John Stanley.
