Lemon Tree passage is one of the Hunter Valley's terminal points for the Greater Sydney ticketing area as it sits adjacent to the inner areas of Port Stephens. It is not an easy place to get to from Sydney in a day and still get home. Lemon Tree Passage is served from two directions, Raymond Terrace at roughly hourly intervals via Medowie and also a school and commuter service twice each day to and from Newcastle.
