Western Australia State election 2017

An election was held in Western Australia on 10 March. The vote in the lower house went overwhelmingly to Labor over the incumbent Liberals, while the vote in the Upper House resulted in the new Government needing to negotiate with other parties to pass legislation. After the election Ms Rita Saffioti was appointed as Planning and Transport Minister.
