Advances in Theoretical and Applied Hydrodynamics - Past and Present

2010 marked the 200th anniversary of the birth of William Froude, and the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, both of whom have made a significant contribution to advancing the understanding of hydrodynamics during their time. An international conference on advances in theoretical and applied hydrodynamics was organized in 2010 to celebrate William Froude's life and to provide an opportunity for those who are involved in the research, development and application of hydrodynamic to meet and discuss current and future advances in theoretical and applied hydrodynamics at Portsmouth England.
