摘要

The three dimensional complex turbulent flow fields induced by a four flat blade paddle impeller in agitated vessel were measured by laser dopper velocimetry. Mixing vessel used was a closed cylindrical tank of 490mm diameter with a flat bottom and four vertical buffles, giving water volumes of about 100 1. The impellers were at the midheight of the water level in the tank. A height of liquid (Water) was equal to the vessel diameter.
