摘要

An upward plane jet, impinging on the free surface of a shallow rectangular tank, oscillated in the absence of external periodical force. The frequency and the oscillation conditions were clarified. The position of the surface swelling created by the jet impingement, the pressure difference between Two two sides of the jet and the flow velocity on the bottom near the jet inlet were measured, and their Phase relation was examined.
