摘要

A floating gear mechanism is often adopted in planetary gear design in order to share the load torque equally among planetary gears. The floating gear has no bearings and produces a self- centering nature. When the load torque is not applied, the floating gear lies at the bottom of the backlash area due to gravity, and it travels to the center position of the planetary gear train along several paths when the torque is applied.
