摘要

The most important procedure in improving an accuracy of modeling in a stereo-lithography is to clearly identify the relationship between the method of laser irradiation and the solidified-form of photo-curing resin. This report discusses the theoretical analysis and the test results that are conducted with the laser power, the laser beam diameter, scanning speed and the properties of photo- curing resin changed in several ways, in order to find the effects on the thickness and the width of the cured resin. The results are summarized below; ( 1 ) The thickness of the cured resin is closely related to the energy density and such relationship can be linearly represented in the semi-logarith- mic graph. The gradient of the line is the attenuation coefficient and the intercept point at Y- coordinate of the line is the limited curing energy of resin. ( 2 ) The theoretical analysis shows that the thickness and the width of the cured resin can be calculated within small error, using the attenuation coefficient and the limited curing energy.
