摘要

Numerical study of MHD supersonic flows is important to estimate the thrust performance. We already developed the codes taking account of the sonic conditions of 1-dimensional flow analysis, where a 2-dimensional flow was handled, assuming a fully-ionized plasma. Here, for the purpose of analyzing more realistic flows, the code is extended to allow ionization and recombination processes and to introduce a 2-temperature model in 2-dimensional axisymmetric MHD flows. Using the geometric parameters close to the existing experiments, we have calculated 2-dimensional axisymmetric flows satisfying the inlet sonic condition. As a result, the steady flowfields are obtained.
