A simple method is presented to investigate the dynamic behavior of a multi-pan continuous beam subjected to the loads moving at variable speed; it is assumed that each span obeys a uniform Euler-Bernoulli theory. The complete solution is provided by an expansion method in eigenfunctions determined exactly and clearly for The present system. Numerical calculations are carried out for a symmetric three-span continuous beam under A concentrated moving load with a constant acceleration, and the effects of the acceleration on the dynamic Amplification factor are extensively investigated.
