There are already some works on the ground effect calculation of two-dimensional airfoils flying over a wavy surface. The panel method is utilized to handle the same problem in this report. The infinite wavy surface is approximated by a finite number of panels. This inviscid incompressible unsteady flow can be determined by the boundary conditions on the body surfaces, the Kelvin theorem and the Kutta condition at the trailing edge. The amplitudes of the aerodynamic forces are maximal when the chord length of a two-dimensional airfoil approaches the wave length of the wavy surface.
