摘要

The effect of strain rate on tensile behaviour of cryo-rolled ultrafine grained OFHC Cu was investigated in the strain rate range 10−5-10−2s−1 in the present study. A significant increase in yield and ultimate tensile strength but a reduction in uniform elongation was observed in cryo-rolled Cu as compared to microcrystalline Cu. However, surprisingly a significant uniform elongation was observed at all strain rates, unlike in UFG Cu processed by other synthesis methods.
